The project might be $5,000, $7,500, $9,000, or more depending on the services they want and length of their book.

Write an email, newsletter, article, or blog post to share an honest review of the course you did — or service you purchased — and what you achieved.

Reach out to someone privately

 

Reach out to someone personally — like a friend, colleague, client, customer, or relative — with an email or text.

Best Practices

By law, you are required to state you’re an affiliate.

 

This is known as an “affiliate marketing disclosure.”

 

This means, whenever you mention a Get It Done course or service and encourage people to enroll, you need to include a brief statement explaining you receive financial compensation when people enroll.

 

Your statement can be something like this:

 

I’m a proud graduate of The Tiny Book Course. I’m an affiliate, too. This means, when you enroll using my special affiliate link, you save 10% on the course, and I earn a 10% commission. Win-win. I only promote courses I’ve tried personally, and that I can strongly and confidently recommend.

  

You can include this statement at the bottom of a blog post, bottom of an email, bottom of your website (footer section), or anywhere else you want.

 

It doesn’t have to be a huge announcement, but it needs to be stated publicly somewhere.

What You Earn, Payment Dates, and Terms

In general, you earn between 5-10% of any course or service you sell.

The Tiny Book Course - Early Enrollment (on/before April 30, 2022): You earn $89.50 for every enrollment.
 

The Tiny Book Course - Regular Enrollment (after April 30, 2022): You earn $99.50 for every enrollment.

 

Book Production Services: You earn 10% of the package. Packages typically start at $5,000. This means, you earn (at least) $500.

 

You sold a few courses and earned some money. Hooray! Now what?

 

  • We pay our affiliates via PayPal.
     

  • You can expect to receive your affiliate payment 30 days after a course begins. For Book Production Services clients, you will be paid upon completion of the project, which is typically around 90 days.
     

  • Not sure how much you’ve earned? You can check by going to your account profile: https://partner.youcangetitdone.com/login
     

  • If you feel there’s been an error, and you’re being paid more — or less — than you really earned, please email us: hello@youcangetitdone.com. We’ll investigate. We want to make sure you’re getting every single dollar you earned.
     

  • While it’s unusual, sometimes, affiliates overlap. For instance, you encourage your friend, Leticia, to purchase The Tiny Book Course. Meanwhile, your colleague Dev told Leticia the exact same thing. Now Leticia has learned about the course from two people — from you and Dev. Whatever affiliate link Leticia uses to purchase the course, that’s who will receive the commission. If she uses Dev’s link, then Dev gets the commission. If she uses yours, then you get the commission. Unfortunately, this is not something we can control. It’s up to Leticia.
